Creator/Producer: Rose Thornton
Rose is the founder/owner of ReGeneration Productions, LLC. Since graduating from the University of Washington with a double major in Community, Environment, and Planning and Environmental Studies, she has worked in the environmental field with local government, non-profits and independently. Through her green media production company, Rose marries her experience in art and science. ReGeneration Productions is an expression of her life-long passion to communicate the ideals and practice of urban sustainability.
Director: Jon Sumple
Jon has written, directed and edited numerous corporate videos and several independent video projects during his 25+ years in the marketing industry. He comes to ReGeneration Productions by manifesting a desire to move from South Florida to Seattle, focus on a more sustainable lifestyle and network with as many green folks as possible. He met Rose Thornton while interviewing her during an eco rally and the rest, as they say, is history.
Videographer: Anthony Rowe
A recent graduate of the video production program at the Art Institute of Seattle and the Evergreen State College, Anthony Rowe is a freelance videographer in Seattle. He has worked with several Seattle sports teams, local musicians, and Microsoft. Production Assistant: Jessica Johnson
An aspiring freelance editor, Jessica enjoys putting her love of language and people toward supporting the effective communication and dissemination of much needed messages in today’s world. During the past year’s efforts to align her newfound career path with her ideals, she has been privileged to work as a communications intern for Sightline Institute and an editorial intern for Exterminating Angel Press. She is now pleased to be a part of the ReGeneration Productions team as well.
Product/Sponsorship Liaison: Shari Weir
As ReGeneration Productions’ Product and Sponsorship Liaison, Shari works with green-minded companies to find the right products for Mission: Sustainable makeovers. Her passion about sustainability and conservation in design is due largely to her education in the Community, Environment and Planning program at the University of Washington and her environmental work with non-profits and government. Also a recent graduate of the Community, Environment and Planning Program at UW, Madalynn brings her experience with Seattle non-profits and a passion for community development to ReGeneration Productions. Madalynn spent years in the retail world and has gained a maven-like curiosity for who's who in Seattle's eco-savvy community. She is thrilled to put her networking skills to use and connect the company with organizations and vendors who share our ideals and vision. She's helping to ensure that Mission: Sustainable develops valuable and effective affiliations with its fellow members of the green industry.
